320 Below - Please Come Back to Malaysia!
Don't you just love ice cream? Of course you do, right? I mean, who doesn't? Some people call it calories that require two hours to burn off at the gym. I call it indulgence, because sometimes, it's nice to indulge a little bit.
Well, whatever you may call it, one thing's for sure, it's the best dessert there is. Or should I say was.
Remember 320 Below, the Singaporean ice cream brand? In case you didn't know, their outlet at 1 Utama Shopping Centre (their sole outlet in Malaysia) has sadly ceased operations. This is glum news for people like me who love their ice cream, so this post is sort of my personal plea and attempt at asking them to come back, if they ever read this.
They had such amazing flavours and I have yet to try them all. The only ones I've tried are: Thai Coconut, Coffee, Peanut Butter and Nutella. They were really good. The flavours pictured above are Thai Coconut and Coffee, by the way.
320 Below branded themselves a bit differently by calling their product nitrogen ice cream (or nitro cream) instead of just ice cream because it's made with liquid nitrogen. Not that that's new but hence "320" in the name, i.e. the freezing point of liquid nitrogen. I know, right? Brings to mind the T-1000 in Terminator 2 freezing upon contact with it!
I miss 320 Below. While there's no news of a comeback to Malaysia, you never know. We're a good market so I'm keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed.
